ah, well...

to answer your question - i don't exactly see souls. i feel them. when i create a personal soul mandala, i connect with the client's soul and allow it to direct the work. it's a rather intimate process, but not in the way you might assume. i don't normally discover details of the ego's existence. instead, i become absorbed in the soul's journey. it's fascinating work and i'm proud to be able to create in this way.
