Yes, of course eating a green salad is green. Raw veggies greatly reduce the amount of land required (cows need the land they graze PLUS the land to raise the grain they consume AND they produce methane which is 3 times worse than CO2), and there's no cooking costs (electricity or gas), plus it's the healthiest way to eat.
Hi Jeff~
I hope we can be friends.
I still have ties to Houston, after living there for (ahem!) 23 years. Logically, that menas I must have been a very young child when I was first there.
Welcome!
I read your post about changing over a million fluorescent fixtures. This is superb and very logical to us aliens. You are definitely not a Didiot Earthling. Thank you for being green like us.
Dude, (I do not understand why humans call each other Dude but Drauk told me to use it sometimes with other Earthlings) you have already taken the first of the Zork Pledge to the highest next level. We are impressed.
Based on our logical based, nano calculations, we are assuming that your next step is to take Zork Pledge number two and repeat the feat with a 1 million mile bike ride. Good luck Dude Jeff on accomplishing this task of pedaling your way to history. The entire Zork Planet is cheering for you. Meeree Eeree (Ciao).
Drauk,
Zork would be proud, in my former life I was CEO of Energy Management Services, a very green minded corporation, in which our core business was engineering, construction and implementation of energy efficient retrofits for large commercial buildings, nationwide chain retail and military facilities across the US. I would say without hesitation that EMS removed nearly a million fluorescent fixtures out of circulation and additionally recycled all the hazardous materials from those construction retrofits. From Blockbuster to Wal-Mart and from Hill Air force Base to the Pentagon is a good head start but there is a lot of work to go.
Imagine would could be done in the private sector with just a little initiative. Good luck with your website!
Hello, green friend. I am green like Zork. My newest things it to stop shaving! No razors to fill landfills, no shampoo to poison the water. Au naturel....
