I just read this story in the news:

Catch-22: Feds cut climate research to save fuel
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - They haven't rechristened a ship the Irony, but federal researchers are canceling and cutting back on voyages aimed at studying climate change and ocean ecosystems so they can save money on boat fuel. (more)

As Zork says, fish are Earthlings too! We need to stop abusing and destroying our own planet and start protecting it. At least other countries are taking the lead. The U.S. needs to stop warmongering and start protecting the environment. American's are worried more about their own wallets than the planet - it doesn't make much sense.; ▶ Reply to This
