Best Green Car

Hail to all green Zorksters!

Which car is the best, for when you really need to drive one because the city planners where too silly to make cities smaller and public transport more manageable?

The Europeans like the Diesel.
The Americans like the Hybrid.
The Electric Car died a lonely death.
And Hydrogen scares the masses.

I know, I got lucky. Not only is it green, it also gets me a whole lota respect on the mean streets of the USA. Everybody thinks I am a cop, and starts following the law when they see me. Of course that sucks when I want to speed, because they all go five under the limit in front me, but as all good green Zorksters know, the slower we go, the better for out dear Gaia.

So what is your favorite green car? Do you like the little Diesel Euros, or the sweet Hybrids? Do you think Hydrogen is the way to go, or is the good old bicycle your favorite? Maybe electric cars are a good thing too.
